Organizers hope Saturday's TukeeFest: Rockin' in the Park will allow community members to come together and enjoy themselves.
The event, to be held at Ahwatukee Park at 4700 E. Warner Road from 5-11 p.m., will feature live music and games. The first-time gathering is being presented by The Ahwatukee Foothills Chamber of Commerce, the Ahwatukee Community Swim - Tennis Center and the Ahwatukee Board of Management.
Admission to TukeeFest is free but tickets are needed for food, drinks, airbrush tattoos, games and rides. Tickets and wristbands for rides can be purchased online at ahwatukeechamber.com. Tempe-based Brewer's Air Conditioning - Heating will sponsor a spirits garden.
Businesses have until noon Saturday to sign up for a $250 booth
As you can see these latest images (released to promote her new single) don't resemble her - or her shape - in the slightest. Or indeed, any human shape.
The Mail writes, with their usual idiocy (or unusual self-aware irony?) that 'She looked so unbelievably svelte that it could perhaps be suggested that her shots had undergone a spot of airbrushing.'
But the images they reproduce in their article don't look like they've ever been photos. Someone had an 'aesthetic' in mind when they produced this strange artwork, but was it her or her audience? If what we're looking at is Britney's idealised version of herself, well that's sad. If it's our idealised version of her, God help us.
